What do you enjoy the most about your job?
Chatting with different guests on the sofa every night and being lucky enough to get to know interesting and intriguing people.
What was your first job?
Working in Tesco in Carmarthen. I was lucky enough to work in the records department, and I sold a radio to Tecwyn Ifan once!
And the worst job you’ve had?
There isn’t a ‘worst job’, each one – even when I had to get up early as a breakfast time waitress in the Ivy Bush Hotel in Carmarthen – has given me interesting experiences and education of a different kind.
Which food you wouldn’t be able to live without?
Lamb and Sunday dinner.
What is the worst thing that you’ve worn in public?
All the clothes I wore as a presenter on a children’s program called Bilidowcar back at the beginning of the 80s.
If you were invisible for the day, what would you do?
Go to my children’s school to have a peek at their little world.
What is your favourite word?
Wedi 7 o’r 3!
Where is you favourite place in the world?
My home in Llanbedr y Fro village.
How did you start presenting to begin with?
There was an advert for new presenters in Y Cymro when I was in my third year in University, and S4C were about to start in six months. I was lucky enough to get the job with the BBC as a presenter on the children’s program Bilidowcar.
What sort of music do you like?
Welsh
What was the first record you brought?
Gdbye to Jane by Slade!!! I can’t understand why now!
